Wedding Tiara

This is a tiara I made for a friend's wedding. The base metal is fine silver in 20ga wire and the fins are the same wire beaten flat and curved before being soldered onto the frame. It is a crown that covers the front of the head with two long hair clips made from the same silver that connect to the crown and flow back through the hair of whoever is wearing it. In addition, the crown also has seven fresh water pearls on it which are more visible in other pictures. It was mainly inspired by Arwen's crown but I wanted to do something that looked a little different but still evoked the feeling of being elvish in origin.
